If you like a relaxing atmosphere, romanticism, and life on the water, there are plenty of reasons to live in floating house. Mobile floating homes on the water are relatively easy to build.

Floating homes are those homes that are used as living space on the water, and which are least mobile. Move only vertically with the level of water. Unlike houses on rafts, floating homes are not self-propelled. Although some small floating house can be mobile by connecting the motor to them.

There is a possibility in which the exterior of the house prefabricated construction, featured clients and transported to the site. The entire structure must be anchored to the foundation. In the future, if a homeowner wants to move it, it can be dismantled and reassembled elsewhere without much hassle. The interior can be equipped as required through modular units such as kitchens, bathrooms, etc.

Such structures have a significant market since it is possible to raise a house for a few days and by reference to the selection. Such homes can be great for smaller sites. They can also be connected together very easily, forming a larger community house.

There are two basic principles of building floating houses. The first is the principle of the pontoon where the real solid platform, lighter than water. The second principle is based on the shape of a ship where the real hollow concrete box with an opening at the top. Pontoon principle of providing benefits when using the shallow water. Hollow concrete box has benefits in terms of greater use of space inside of it as part of the building.

The most notable negative side of life on the water is a drastic change in lifestyle. There is limited space especially for storing things. The assets must be limited to a minimum.

The biggest problem is the cost and inconvenience of heating in winter and maintenance and repairs if they are necessary.
